Is it just me or the leading phone companies have run out of design ideas? Man, they all look the same... people are getting tired of the same age old designs...

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-11-25 16:08 from uWxwWindows Mobile OS is hell not better than S40 even. That useless OS is pathetic. Sony Ericsson only ever used it once and Nokia never used Windows OS.
Manufacturers keep needing to customize the cheap Windows Mobile OS because it looks so bad.
Mobiles with amazing screens cant even make the Windows OS look good. In fact it looks bad on large detailed screens because you can see the pixels. How cheap is that? You can see the pixels on a mobile. Pretty lame.

Go for the SE k850, its has got everything here plus Xenon flash, Accelerometer.
Forget GPS and Wifi, the battery is too weak to hold them for even 15 mins !!!

S40 is such a bad platform... really dont mind,,,,,, symbian is far far better than S40
this mobile is not gonna be success may be... but nokia seems like releasing it at 600-700 US $
which is worse price for such a fone...
HTC fones with better features and far better WINDOWS OS are already available in market with VGA display, low weight and superior performence (600 Mhz) @ 450$-500$
Sony Ericsson Xperia which is already in stores at about 750 - 800 US $ which is far far far more superior
HTC advantage @ 950 USD
HTCtOUCH PRO AT 700 USD
HTC Shift @ 1300 USD
Motorola ZN5 at just 320 USD is a better fone than this one... beats it even if it is available @ 500 USD
So dear nokia sorry for the CRAP.... I hate u... because you have announced an INSANE FONE
these are real high end fones

They're not gonna make the perfect phone 4 u because then everyone will have wat they want and they'll be out of business because nobody wants a phone thats not wat they want unless they produce a phone with entirely new features

This is a welcome addition to the S40 range and could be an indicator that Nokia is very likely over the longer term to seriously consider that as the similarities between S60 and S40 become greater and the differences less, that S40 could become integrated into an overall smartphone OS powering Nokia's entire range.
As far as this device is concerned, it faces its most direct challenge from the 6220 Classic which includes the S60 OS.
