From all negative comments and unbeliever, I make one conclusion that there are Apple fanboys that can't accept the reality which Samsung is way much better and leave Apple so far behind with they're technology and innovation...poor on you and I'm feel sorry for that......LoL

At this point of time, most of us don't need a flexible smartphones. Flexible smartphones are not practical now. Flexible display is since the screen sizes for smartphones are getting bigger.

I don't blame u if ur imagination is somewhat limited. Here is the concept of flexible display smartphones that could go for mass production in near future:

Samsung was able to produce the flexible screen, but what about the motherboard, battery, chips, and the camera...

Guys samsung a truly innovative flexible display is bot meant to bend the phone body take a look a gel case of a phone its flexible ang can protect the phone on impact but not mean you can bend the phone when you put a gel case a flexible display will do the same as gel case ant its serves as protector of its own.

anyone who believes this will give you a smartphone you can roll up and shove into a tp tube, they need to have their heads examined.

first of all. Nevermind the technical impossibilities, who would even buy or use such a thing? its floppiness would make it simply unusable. the image thereis grossly misleading.

Samsung has already given us glimpses of phones with flexible or curved displays, go watch the 2013 CES keynote. in all examples, involved was a solid part to contain the brains and power, and support for the screen, whether it rolled out on a rail, folded out into a tablet, or simply curved the screen around to give extra notification space.

when you guys are speculating, ask yourself "would it be usable in any kind of real-life scenario, (even pushing that concept a little) if the answer is "no" it's not likely to happen.

what if they separate all unflexible components and put spaces between them and connect them through wires as for the battery there could be more smaller batteries connected through wires so the phone this way could be flexible, not 100% flexible but still mostly flexible. it would be fragmented but as flexible as the wrist of a metallic watch
