It mean that you can pay a huge money and put your phone on your back pocket and won't be afraid that the screen may break in half if you sit.
OR NO, they can not even assure that too.
Then they say A7 is a marketing gimmick.

no !!

not nessecary ,
the phones can be designed as a two fold device ,
where you can lay the MOBO and other items under one fold , and then use external mechanisms to fold the other half . look for those third-party iphone 6 concepts , and the concepts samsung presented ,

folding lcd is not meant for making folding or twisting phone , it would be used for bringer a larger amount of screen into a smaller space ,

you will carry a 4.5 inch phone in your pocket , which will open up and reveal an 8 inch screen .

this is what fold able screens would be built for .

> In reply to laxis @ 2013-10-04 18:32 from YQ@H - click to readIf they pushed all those unflexible parts to the top and bottom of the phone, then make the center part out of flexible plastic, maybe some small components can still reside in the flexible part in the center. There you have it.. a truly flexible phone. You have to be creative like samsung :)

Sell your Corning stocks now. This phone and future ones will not need Gorilla glass.
