Its so boring to have only one model with one screen size like iPhone. Compare to Android with manufacturers, types and screen sizes despite of which better OS they have. We live in a modern society not in the communist country aren't we..
It's only a matter of time before we see the same in other markets, Android is peaking and small drops is inevitable.
I be staying with android for now but I hope that in a year or two I can buy a true flagship phone running Firefox or something. Ads are coming to Android core apps, Android is not a suitable OS for the future.
AnonD-1825, 06 Oct 2013September 2012 apple share in US was 34.3% and now year later 40.7%. Huge gain in one year. ... more... and in the meantime Android got to 90% market share in the biggest smartphone market in the world China and to anywhere between 65 and 90% in all European markets. So what's your point?

He is of Polish ancestry on his father's side, and of German, Northern Irish, and English descent on his mother's.
i honestly thing my 2 years old galaxy s2 is still better than any iphone, true it might not be as fast, but i don't have lag, i've got usb on the go can upload and download anything from any pc without needing to download a software on that pc, can put all the pirated music i want on it without masking, my bluetooth works with all capable devices, i've got sd card, i don't have to pay 100 euros more for 16 gb more, just 25 and i get 32 more gb, it's got more than a decent camera for stills and videos, live wallpapers and the list can go on, at the moment this phone is priced at about 250 euros for free in my country while the iphone 4, not 4s, is priced at 400, i don;t care how big of a apple fan you are but you can not say that the iphone 4 is better than the s2, this just goes to show that you people are sustaining a douchebag company that charges a lot more than it should, they offer less for more, there profit on an iphone is probs around 400-500% while other companies add 20-30% to the price the phone cost to be made. seriously we're in 2013 how can a device not have usb on the go? or bluetooth with other devices, these 2 things are enough to show apple's doucheness. they don't want you to be free, they want to make you use itunes and annoy you.
Anonymous, 06 Oct 2013First of all, at least try to learn some English if you want to communicate in a non-native la... moreforest you do not seem to have read the comments explaining that gsmarena is not American. Second, The Big companies you mention are indeed registered in us but they are not created or run by native Americans. Here is part of the Wikipedia entry of your idol Steve Jobs:Jobs's birth parents met at the University of Wisconsin, where Jobs's Syrian-born biological father, Abdulfattah "John" Jandali (Arabic: عبدالفتاح جندلي),[36][37][38][39][40] was a student, and later taught, and where his biological mother, Swiss-American Catholic Joanne Carole Schieble, was also a student.
And Sergey Brin is Russian.
[deleted post]First of all, at least try to learn some English if you want to communicate in a non-native language, it's clear it's difficult for you. Second, if you don't like Gsmarena because it's made in the USA, go somewhere else, perhaps in your native language you can find a better option, all you have burying your head in the sand/i do is Google it. Third, insulting US citizens, and the country itself, or ignoring real life facts, just because you don't like them, is not going to change reality. The last known person able to create a "reality distortion field" was Steve Jobs, but he was a genius, you know, your opposite, so people would listen. The truth is the smartphone market is dominated by operating systems developed by Apple and Google, two US companies, so whether you like it or not, that is a fact that concerns not only the United States of America but the rest of the world in economic terms, but also in market innovation and tendencies. I could go on and on, but I really don't think you will be able to understand these simple facts, so I'm not going to lose more time. By the way, I'm not from the U.S., but it doesn't prevent me from seeing the truth. Stop burying your head in the sand.
Who cares? They're the world's laughing-stock anyway, and keep calming themselves down by repeating "they're just jealous!" :))
[deleted post]Right...I've also noticed that all recent Hollywood blockbusters feature Filipino women and here in Europe all commercials and billboards are showing Filipino women in virtually 100% of the cases. :-) And don't get me wrong - I'm not saying they are not beautiful, but beauty is such a relative and non-precise thing that no nation can prove that their women are the most beautiful. And beauty contests are a joke anyway - to be able to say that out of 3.5 billion women in the World this one is the most beautiful???? Come on...
And don't try to strip her from her make-up because you might be terrified at the sight :-)
[deleted post]You're right. In India people need to invest their money in worthwhile things, like bribing an official for something as simple as a driver's license or getting your electricity connected in a reasonable time. Pretty smart way to run things.

Anonymous, 06 Oct 2013You're right, the US is not the whole world. It's just the place where iOS (Apple)and Android ... moreAaaa, let me see if I get it right. So you want to tell me that if I come up with a product and take over the markets of Europe, Asia, South America, Africa and Australia, but I am only marginally first in US I should really tremble and worry and close down my business as it is highly unsuccessful? Is this what you are trying to tell me?
AnonD-4697, 06 Oct 2013Did you read the title..Yes, I did, it says United States and not the World...
