We may not currently see aneed for a display that is flexible in use, but surely there are several areas where a flexible display could be used in a fixed curved frame.
Like not having to buy three separeate computer monitors, but one very wide and curved one. Even LG's 21:9 screens would benefit from being curved.
Smartwatches would also benefit from this technology. Not needing to be flexible in the en result, but in a curved frame.
LG G2 is very succeaful.
LG is really doing great job...
now lets wait for the marketing dept to tell us that we "need" a flexible (how ever small) display...
