WP has a problem with their development. They are doing this like windows desktop software. The develop one stage eg. WP8 and then they stop to continue. The team will focus on the next step. You could see GDR 2 from Windows. Without the Nokia features it would be nothing. Windows for desktop its the same. They developed W7. Finish. If you want some new features you need to wait until W8. MS is a monopoly company. The think they have all the time in the world and the user have to accept this because there is no alternative. But mobile business is fast, very fast with a lot of alternatives. And the new are coming quickly: Sailfish, Ubuntu, Tizen, Firefox. If you really like old Nokia you should have a look on sailfish OS.

What a great improvement, first radio, then WXGA (1280 x 768) what next ?! Maybe file manager, can we get vibrate and ring at the same time, mabybe in next 5-6 years it will be acceptable mobile OS. Nokia should rebuild Symbian, much more quickly adapt to touch phones. Symbian Belle or MeeGo is much functional then WP ir iOS but they are no longer developed so it is difficult to compare eg app store. Design and capabilities of MeeGo/Symbian were much better, but marketing and adapt to fashion failed.

Bad operating system. Just look elsewhere for better options.

> In reply to Lumia800 Pioneer @ 2013-10-09 04:51 from TSWx - click to readYou are a WP7.5 user...
you supported Nokia,Microsoft
and you got WP7.8...

WP8 supporters get WP8.1...

I still use Lumia 800 and my dad has Lumia 620
still im not using WP8 Yet. Bcoz i dont want to feel disheartened with limited upgrades...

For me GDR3 is more than a dream come true...
Waiting to buy 1520 with GDR3...
that will make me feel better...

Wp8 update is coming very good

but why they not add file manager, wifi file transfe

why true caller not working
why wp or ms sandboxing every app on wp8

wp is useless until they add more features like this

they can't hear uservoice in uservoice section

i love nokia but why i hate wp or ms

Wait wait wait... WP we are not against you. Keep on upgrading your OS and maybe in 3 to 4 years when you finally catch up with iOS or Android we will consider you to run my cellphone.

"Glance screen will also have notifications, like the lockscreen." , does this mean that you will see a new message and miss calls notifications on your glance screen ?

hey guys see the advantage of wp8, almost all range can get the update, only few will miss some features if the hardware is not supported but still will get the gd3, unlike androids phone that only the high end can only get the updates. my phone with android 4.0 1ghz dual core 512mb cannot even updated to 4.1 , 4.2 wtf ? and my lumia 620 with same spec have already been updated twice
