who are the deadbeats in charge at samsung? the reason sales aren't as good as they'd hope is because they fill it with COMPLETE CRAP FEATURES. All the eye recognition turd is a waste of time, no one cares.
make decent features that actually work and then people will be interested.

Not surprising. When innovation slows so do sales. Many still prefer the S3 with it's lower price and FM Radio as broadband is still not available, free and unlimited in many places and people like their device to be flexible specially when they travel. Paying $200 more for the new features of the S4 AND loosing the FM Radio is not an option for many of us. Think about how well received the return of the IR port have been. FM Radio (preferably with internal antenna as "in the old days") is something many of us wants. Sadly they are making the same mistake with the Note 3!

Looks the 'Life Companion' flagship is already heading towards a divorce with so many S4 users in less than a year :)

I don't know the real numbers of GS4 sales but I presume they are huge, huuuuuugeee. Still if they are launching next version earlier, it might be only because they wanna start the new design language as early as possible. They might want to silent every 'plastic' critic since after all the design bashing and the probable sales loss due to it, it is now only obvious that GS5 is gonna have the much wanted premium finis and they want do it as soon as possible. No doubts GS5 will be huge. I think of all its years, GS5 is going to be the most important device for the Samsung. It is gonna affect Samsung, Sony and Apple all.

Agreed. For now Sony seems to be the one producing excellently built handphones in the Android arena.

Apple only make 2 or 3 products and they make excellent ( forget about the limitations in ios), Samsung needs to Deliver better design than HTC one and battery to last a week on heavy use otherwise look like apple slave for the rest of their life

According to me, main problem is not only samsung or htc or lg's insufficent hardware and cases according to apple, another main problem is these companies have to use insufficent os(android). You think again; 2x 1.3 ghz 1 gb A7 beat 4x 2.26 ghz 2 gb snapdragon 800. Google must be revised itself. If doesnt, Samsung, htc, lg vs.. will search new os or they will be make themselves new one.

> In reply to keke @ 2013-10-11 09:37 from Np}} - click to readlol yeah it was selling sooo well the company made no money from it. The truth is, HTC never confirmed the sales figure for the One. The 5 million was a rumor that the company denied. Judging by their loud mouth employees on twitter, it it was selling well they would have been all over it on twitter.

Smasung is a nice toy but the retail prices are shocking high,$1200 Samsung s4..???? if the prices are lower i'm sure that half of the population of this planet will buy samsung s4...For now i am on Hong Kong models that is far cheaper with dual 13MP camera 5.2" screen, quad core 1.7GHz with 4GB RAM and 16GB ROM plus card slot up to 64GB for only $250...That is the reason for me to say good bye samsung...
