5c is too expensive. just think who would buy it? it's too expensive for kids, serious users would go for 5s. if they want to sell it price should not be higher than 300 Eur.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Look, the iphone 5S + 5c just released a few weeks ago and now look at GSMArena's interested chart ranking, iphones are not on the top 10. They magically disappeared, lol. Even an old entry level Galaxy S Duos have more people's interests

The 5C should have been priced significantly lower in order to make it a success. Besides of the price, the specs are maybe too close to that of the 5S. So it's not justified to place the 5C pricewise and specwise so close to the 5S. It would make more sense if an iPhone 5C would be something like 300 euro...

the funny thing is that if you show someone an iPhone 5 and a iPhone 5c, i guarantee you that 90% of the time they will choose the iPhone 5. I mean come on its not brain surgery, the iPhone 5 looks 100 times better than the 5c and they are pretty much the same spec, battery is slightly bigger in the 5c but thats it, aaand the 5 is cheaper to buy than the 5c.

I would have been interested if it was £300 or below - entry level to mid range handset. I'm not spending £400 plus when I can get a LG G2 for Samsung S4 for near that price! Stupid/Greedy Apple have shot themselves in the foot

5c should have been released a few years ago. As an iOS and Android user, even my middle of the range Motorola RAZR i running 4.2.2 is more usable and advanced, thanks to the BACK button (lack of one on iOS makes navigation tiresome) and customisable home screen so I can see all my info at a glance, no need to swipe down/up/sideways etc. iOS even now seems a bit aged and the new look is not as exciting or as flexible as Android.

5c is nice in the hand and would be great Android hardware.

All said, I'm seeing a lot of girls buying them here in the UK, it's the colours.

I think Apple rushed the 5c to hurt sales of the equally colourful Moto X, hence it uses the same engine as the 5, rather than doing anything better.

IE, Apple have got stuck in 3rd gear.

So Apple failed to sell plastic. Hmm. GREAT. I doubt anyone would go for it even with the reduced price. People buy Apple only to look premium and since nothing was premium about it except the outrageous price tag, failure was only a

Apple not selling their product and doesn't care about quality anymore. They're selling their apple LOGO, just because they think they are very popular now. iPhone 5s new feature is Fingerprint reader which was IBM used on Think Pad laptop 20 years ago. Apple stole other people's idea and they try to sue Samsung using their patent.

It's cheesy to assume that consumers would accept the price for 5C and apple's assumption is definitely so wrong. Should be renamed 5M...as in moron.

its failed because it was a desperate measure by apple to try and get one device to cover two groups of people and they have blown it, badly, its far too pricey for folk who wanted a cheap entry into lah lah apple land, but not exclusive enough for folk who wanted to enter lah lah apple land because they are snobs.
this is what happens when you try to sell 3 year old kit at this years prices.
+ the fact that a lot of folk who may have bought into looney apple land few years ago will not buy because they have problems with apples moral and ethical issues.
s jobs was basicly a thief, he just never got prosecuted.
b gates was basicly a thief, he just never has been prosecuted.
strange how both firms have large amounts of cash that they have salted away by non payment of tax, yet both have severe falling sales, they will be joined by samsung soon, as folk realise exactly how thsy do business and folk desert them for the same ethical reasons, what goes up can come down even faster...
