Blue HTC One now hits the UK, blue One mini to follow soon - read the full textHTC put out beautiful blue versions of the One and One mini but they are exclusive to certain retailers. In the UK that retailer is Carphone Warehouse, who just put up the blue HTC One on sale while the One mini will come later this month. The big HTC One can be had for £32 on contract, with...

Got a blue one as replacement for my black version. Not quite as premium in looks. To be honest, phone is quite overpriced, got a note 3 for nearly £60 less, both Sim free.

Who in their right minds will buy this outdated phone NOW? Very few. I salivated on this phone when it was announced, but was taken aback when I got hold of it (hands-on -test at the electronics shop) as its photos were jagged and bleak in comparison with another flagship, its very high price considering that it has no expandable storage (even the 16GB model of HTC One is way pricey here in the country where I currently work). But I do agree that the HTC One has a very very very good design. Even with the recent price drops of HTC One (though it STILL has the same price as with the newer flagships), there are a lot of good choices now (Note 3, Z1, G2, even Lumia 1020)- so buyers, make the right choice.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-10-11 14:37 from mAv} - click to readCarphone Warehouse can't price match a phone another retailer doesn't even sell. I know this because I work in the Price Match department at Carphone Warehouse Head Office and it's my team that issue the authorisation codes. The phone must be in stock and on the same tariff. How can the One Blue be in stock at O2 if they don't even sell the handset?

No One can put 4MP in their flagship and hoping it sells flagrantly.....
I just don't understand HTC, I agree their phone's premium.. But please release One+ with 8 MP before It's too late.

I skip One and One Max.

IMPORTANT FOR O2 USERS:

Go to Phones4U and quote the £27 upgrade price for HTC One. Carphonewarehouse will match the price rather than the £32 stated. I know because I just negotiated this deal.

the phone looks very nice in blue. but 380£ is to much. this means 447 euros. the other versions are around 375 - 380 euros. i am not sure if i would pay 70 bugs just for the blue option.

> In reply to popye @ 2013-10-11 11:16 from vj1k - click to readThe reason this phone didn't sell like hotcakes which it should be is it's price. Even today, S4 is around 650$ in my country, Xperia Z is around 580$, Z1 is around 700$ but HTC One is still 750$ here. Just by including 30$ more in 750, I can buy a Note III....

This is why HTC One failed at most of the places.

This phone deserves more success to be honest. Apart from the camera which takes decent pics, everything about this phone is excellent. Exquisite design, best stereo speakers on a smartphone, best display in terms of clarity and PPI, professional UI and HTC is too quick with updates now. 4.3 has just recently been released. People who chose a Galaxy or Xperia over this don't know what they've missed. This is the best Android phone to date.
