I think you've got it wrong: you write the score as 25,496 and you compare it with Snapdragon 600 but in the graphical classification it shown as if the score was 25.496. The consequence is it is displayed on the last position when trying to order the devices according to their performance.
Later edit: zlebors has also seen the problem! ;)

Its a decent type of score for me even if is being beaten by a quad core by samsung exynos and snapdragon. What do we expect in mediatek they produced a affordable type of chipset for masses. Its like you pay what you get. The only question is that did they fix the gps like on there past quadcore and does it overheat fast like samsung claim that they cant do on they octa core. How about power efficient.

None of the application utilize multiple cores very efficiently. Therefore making it not the best option

1 sane question. How many useful/major/popular apps are there that are truly optimized for Octa-core chip and make use of all that eight cores?

I love all the "snapdragon is best" comments, yes obviously it is better... No one is saying it is not, it is actually completely evident in all ways that snapdragon is better, and this article does in no way dispute that fact. But I do still enjoy seeing technology advance to a point where even a company like this can be competitive with performance and still maintain cheaper prices. And also that comma is completely throwing off the graph.

Snapdragon 800 still thrashes this cheap octa core, it's just a gimmick, for me give me a quad core snapdragon 800 or tegra 4 chip any day, anyone who likes this mediatek rubbish needs his brain testing.
