Google has been working on many under-the-hood improvements with KitKat and the Nexus 5. Therefore there is no need to worry about the battery life. 2300mAh should be an ample amount. Wait until the reviews come out before posting hater comments.
The specs for this device are incredible!! And the design of the device is excellent.

The design and specifications are great but battery is a big flaw.

There is no limitation to what cloud storage service you can use..ever heard of DropBox? Also, you may want to realize that Google doesn't even require that you get apps from the Play Store, you can copy any app onto storage and install it no matter where it came from, right from within your file browser of choice.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-10-19 12:44 from ty@1 - click to readPeople are numb by the prices of iphones and and samsung flagships! It's not the nexus that is cheap! This should be the normal price! Iphones cost 190 dolares to make and they sell as much as 4 and even 5 times the price in some countries. And for what? You're only paying for the logo. It's a crappy phone that looks the same year after year.

> In reply to popye @ 2013-10-19 09:01 from vj1k - click to readThat is not true at all. Nexus phones were made in the first place as an example how Android phones should look like and what specs Android phones should have. They were examples for other companies.
And ofcourse you can choose whatever developpers app for example messaging or online storage you use. You are not forced to use Google's at all!

GOOGLE is confident in this device.
So, no need to worry about the battery.
Otherwise, it will not just pack it with 2300 mAh.

Google isn't forcing anyone to use their services.

Also, there is no official news of an announcement date. Speculating on a date because of the day some song came out is ridiculous. Still no invites yet.
