It's about time an Australian phone was put out there. I think it will be very successful, and I can't wait to own one. :)

I love the specs of this phone phone, and the price is less than half you would expect, but I just don't like these sort of phones where the QWERTY keyboards are in portrait, I would buy this phone if the keyboard was a slide out and in landscape like you would see on the X1 or G1. I wish they could release a model like that :/

It does have 624 MHz processor, 258MB of ROM and 128MB of RAM.1300 mAh battery, which should be functional for 400 minutes of talk time, and approximately 300 hours in standby.
Spec can b found on Sn traders, or http://xrl.us/ozmf8

Wow. Damn it's cheap. Here in Finland all the touch screen phones (like iPhone, Omnia, X1) cost over 800 US dollars. So... Wow.

Seeing one of these with US 3G is probably completely out of the question. For the money, though, this looks like a really promising device.

If it comes out and is really $250, I'll buy one for myself and everyone in my family. To those who are hating already, I challenge you to find a better deal with ALL the same features. Post them here and make everyone's day. Ready? Go

Damn! When i saw the small picture i thought it was i780 running Android....resemblance is really high....Android should have the chance to prove itself.....let the real players start making Android devices, then we shall see:)))

> In reply to [deleted post]how can you justify saying android is a poor OS when you've probably not even used it!!! Anything google produce is quality -- so whats the point in degrading it before you even know what its like, away and play with the buses kid.
