And since when do sales make up who is the best phone ? The Nokia 1100 sold 200 milion, more than the Iphone. From you`re 13 year logical point-of-view, that would mean that the Nokia 1100 is better than the Iphone :))). Is it? NO, of course it isn`t.
BMW sells more cars than Rolls Royce or Ferrari, is BWM better than Rolls Royce or Ferrari ? NO.
Panasonic sells more plasmas/lcd`s than Pioneer? Yes. Is a Panasonic plasma/LCD better than a Pioneer Signature Kuro plasma? No.

Does "sales" mean sales to consumers or sales as in "shipped to the shops and warehouses" sales? By the way, iPhone sales in Russian Federation, according to Eldar Murtazin, died.

Not a big fan of portable video games either.
I have a question, can u play metal gear solid, call of duty, gears of war, halo, and other HD games on ur iPhone?
If your answer is yes, I will give u my ps3 and xbox360 for free!
Like I said, I'm not a big fan of kiddie games. And stop convincing me that iPhone games are better than ps3 and xbox360.

Note: just wanna let you know that you can also do the wii-like controls on the ps3. It is called SIX AXIS, just in case you don't know... Haha!

It's early day's yet, the developer was just showing that it can be done.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-12-08 02:17 from qK6X - click to readYeah well, let's see you pull a PS3 out of one pocket and a cable out of the other when you're not at home.

Where can you get download PS3 games for free, 99c or at an average cost of $3, the most expensive are $12.

How much does a PS3 cost, what else can you do with it?

Not that the iPhone is in this segment of the console market but you seem to be obsessed with comparing an iPhone to a PS3 in relation to iPhone's kicking WinMo's butt.

Where is Gizmondo?

How about N-Gage?

Apple is absolutely smashing them at this point in time in the area of gaming and they did it like the wooden horse of Troy, sneaked in and BAM - knock-out blow!

Now let's see what happens when the competitor's start getting up again.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-12-07 22:48 from nCEL - click to readApp store is selling 2 million applications EVERY DAY, most of them games, Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo can only dream of sales figures like this.

There are 10,000 applications available EVERYONE who has an iPhone or iPod touch can easily access and purchase them.

Again people are continuing to make the same mistake, focussing on what it can't do while underestimating what it can do and IS doing.

I'm just stating facts and coming up with conjecture on possible future uses of this device.

How many games do you think there are available right now for the iPhone and iPod touch?

Apple is coming into the gaming arena in a big way and so far they are off to a very good start.

No matter how much you want to babble on in your ignorance, it seems like pretty undeniable reality.

But then again, the idee is ok, considering apple fanboy`s can`t play more than 3-4 games, the latest was Call of Duty 4 released 6 months after the PC and console release :))). And a couple of older games like Warcraft 3.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-12-07 18:57 from qK6X - click to readHere's one for you, the ability to program games so they can be played via TV out has been found in the SDK ...

...now think about what that means when tied into some of the other things it does.

Roughly 2 million applications are being downloaded every day via App store to a devices with multiple input methods and more processing power than the Nintendo DS and PSP...

Gaming console anyone?

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-12-07 18:57 from qK6X - click to readYes, there are a lot of possibilites with the iphone. Use your imagination. Ok to give you one example. They're working on motion technology. You don't even have to touch the iphone's screen. Before your fingers touch the panel, based on your finger movements, the sensors behind the screen could already figure out what you want to do. Freaky huh, but that is one out freaky but kick ass possibility.

As for the iphone's complete specs, GSM Arena has it. Simply click on Apple on the left side of this screen =) Better yet, go the Apple's website =)
