Fine I will spell it out...

You said gone are the days of Apple's innovations, leadership, and advanced design....

To that I said how such days never existed. Just general public belief....

To that you said I'm still in denial...To which I do not recognize your ID and had we ever spoke before you would have never made such a claim against me as you did next....

When i pointed out years of study in the area....Then you called me an apple fanboy???????????
You were the one that made a non factual statement giving them non existent credit that I commented to correct...

> In reply to Helios @ 2013-10-24 09:16 from ubfu - click to readThere is a difference between opinion...And fact...If you have been following the companies for years, watching the trolling and sheep, seeing who does what and when things are released, no how to read many articles and forums, watch many videos, use many products, keep up with all the court cases...It's just common knowledge.

I'm not in denial of anything. I respect opinion. But sheep belief is not the same thing.

If my level is considered denial then the level all of you are on that believe what you stated are in some serious need of help

Older iphones (iphone/iphone3) do have CGG, but now Apple is using their own aluminosilicate glass whose vendor is from China. Obviously this is to further reduce the manufacturing cost.

Per Corning's official website, none of Apple products are currently using Corning Gorilla Glass. Apple is using Asian manufactured glass now, the quality is not abysmal, but still no match to CGG.

I eventually see Samsung and Google battling it out and LG will come behind copying everyone.

> In reply to Helios @ 2013-10-23 15:14 from ubfu - click to readI'm aware of the current situation, as I've read the news post.

I'm actually fully against Apple, they're over expensive, over hyped and under specced for their cost. I would encourage people not to get an iPhone and go with a Galaxy instead as you get far more for you money.

I was merely making a point that people need to know their facts before slandering other's comments.

> In reply to Chewy @ 2013-10-23 14:54 from MVg6 - click to readRegardless if iPhone made gorilla glass popular, the partnership is now with Samsung. What's important is the present, not the past. Just deal with it. It's not always all about iPhone. iPhone's golden age is sad to say finished. Unless they produce a totally new iPhone in their future release.

Spending so much money on Corning. Why not make their own software for the COMPLETE package? That's when you can make good complete products
