The second generation of the Prada phone is now officially available across Europe just in time for Christmas. As promised, its price tag is around 600 euro, which might be a tad high, but there are tons of goodies...

It doesn't affect mobile pricing of any other mobile manufacturer at all. And it is not as hot if compare with those the same rank like Kc910 and Pixon. Thus your statement is not true.
And N97 is not available yet. By the time it is available, maybe 6 to 8 months after this, all current high end phone's price should already drop because definitely more highend phone already come out in market.
Not because of N97.
And im sure u know that by that time N97 might be the lowest specs phone in the market already.

An overpriced fashion dependant device that seems an unusual offering from a mainstream manufacturer. The arrival of the Nokia N97 and 5800 will force LG to drop the very high price of this device or it will face oblivion.

I think what made nokia so success is not because they have are the technology pioneer, it is only because they have the largest market share because of the history.
If you talk about technology, N97 is just a piece of crap compare to those Japanese and Korean phones which you have never seen. Be real, and please wake up from your own dreams.

Never did I say that this phone is "worth it" just because of the brand name. I was saying that in todays world, people DO pay for brand names, which is why putting the Prada name tag boosts the value of the phone WAY higher, cause we all know we can get these features for a much better price in another phone. Also, I wasn't saying this phone sucks, I clearly said that the value of this phone is so high because of the Prada name tag, and not so much because of the features.

And undeniable the spec sheets is quite impressive though not the best.
It shouln't be compared with a phone which is only will be available after at least 6 months from now.
N97 should only be compare with those phone which are the same timing.

Nice way to waste money. If something as hollow as fashion matters, then go and get it. I got a Touch HD and I am sure it's by far more worth its money!!!
