this is matter of pricing . Android phones sell because of lower price than iphone. if android phone should have a same avarage price as iphone , people will buy more iphones.

Their designs are hideous. Their screens are unlegible outdoors. Nokia makes the best hardware and that's not even debatable.

They both have their pluses and minuses, but overall, I would recommend an iPhone to most people, even though I use an Android phone most of the time. If they can afford it, of course.
Just cleaner interface out of the box, less hassles down the line, generally better design. The new fingerprint sensor of the iPhone is a great feature and everyone I know that has it would not go back to anything else.
If you want to tweak, sure, Android is the way to go, but most users don't tweak.
So, you are doing a disservice to your customers, just because you are a sweaty geek.

If Android is losing to iOS, the opposite is also true. As I write this I'm giving Android phone recommendations to yet another "future ex-iPhone user" who is switching over (I work as a mobile device technician).

Cheap Androids are replacing old-fashioned mobiles. Makes sense.
It's like saying that Walmart sweatpants outsell Prada pants.
Volume has nothing to do with quality.
