> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-11-14 01:35 from 9Lax - click to readI don't even own a Samsung phone, I have an old, pre-Google Motorola that still has a microSD. I was pointing out that Samsung is now the only manufacturer that gives just about all its phones expandable storage. That isn't trolling, that's a plain fact, whether you like it or not.

My phone has 32GB and it's maxed out with apps, music and videos. Some games nowadays take up several GB. I am often in a subway, a gym on the basement floor, and airplanes. Streaming services won't work in any of these places. There are always going to be people whose money they won't get if they limit the storage. Samsung is #1 and ALL their phones have extra storage. Apple does well without it, but their users are simpler people and they've been doing this since the iPod over 10yrs ago. Other companies are doing badly financially - Google Motorola, LG, HTC, Nokia all losing money or barely breaking even - and just about all of their phones have skimped storage.

I have 30 apps installed and still enough free memory. so the 16 gb version of the moto g is going to satisfy most of the people. there is +65 gb of cloud storage. I appreciate what motorola and google did. this phone is a best buy.

Why would I buy this if the nexus 4 costs 200-250 dollars? Or is this the reason it's not available through the play store anymore

Amazing phone for the price. Just wish it had 2gb of RAM, but if they maximized the software usage, then it would definitely be worth getting. I will buy it.

Best Budget phone. Even i don't used any micro sd card in my previous galaxy chat phone which have only 1.9 gb for user and currently i'm not using any micro sd card for my lumia 520. 4.3gb for user more than enough. If u think memory less then go for 16gb model :)..........Best Quad core budget phone..........Go for it blindly :)

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-11-13 17:07 from v0Xt - click to readI find having everything online very unreliable. I actually own music and dont stream music (which sounds very crappy overall imho). I also like to experiment with loads of apps. 8gb or 16gb makes that impossible. Not everyone is like you buddy, same counts for me. I guess there are people who would buy this and use the apps that you mentioned and get around with it. But i do think that motorola would have made a lot more people happy, including me, by adding a micro sd slot. Nokia did it on the 520, so its possible to have it on a smaller budget phone.

Although there's no memory card slot i think the price is very good. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Since I'm into games & lots of apps this is a no go.
