this is great new for emerging market. Who would pay $550-800 for off contract phone. At $200 for 16gb is great value. Most people use their phones for phone calls, texting, check emails, watch youtube and sometime play a little casual game. This phone will do the job fine. You don't need snapdradon 800 for phone call and texting. I, myself, will buy 3 for my extended family in this holidays.

If they have 8gb for 179$ and 16gb for 199$ why they didnt manufactured 32gb version for 219$? It would be logical step. 8gb its totally not enough for games and movies nowadays. Heck even third party navigation apps can be huge.

No. And there are a lot more people in the world that don't have reliable, cheap connection to use those kind of service. I personally prefer having my files offline just to spare my battery and data.

both phones are BS but moto is fair enough and does not charge you 800 euros for a midrange phone.

An option of expandable memory would have made it more effective. irrespective of the limit. at least an 8 gb capacity of expansion makes more impact.
