Unfortunately, "a matter of weeks" doesn't tell us much since there are, after all, 52 of them in every year. I'll anticipate, but not hold my breath. As for the X, which I am really liking so far, it shipped with Android 4.2.2, not 4.3, and there are 'rumors' that Moto will skip 4.2 and upgrade directly to 4.4 KitKat. Naturally, if the past is any indication, VXW will be the last to roll out the OTA.
Anonymous, 14 Nov 2013What is the difference between the android of nexus and moto x well nexus has the purest form of Android without any manufacturers UI or apps or bloatwares pre-installed. while devices like Motorola has UI and handset manufacturers app installed on it out of the box. Some like raw android and some like customized
PL-GM, 13 Nov 2013Given Motorola's track record I'm surprised it didn't ship with Gingerbread! That's because google owns the company now ...
I have a Moto X, it ships with Android 4.2.2. It looks like Motorola is skipping 4.3
