I like Windows
But lumia...??
No..!!!
Stay on my galaxy s3
I know this is coming.well done microsoft.do you look back the history back in 2008 when ios introduced and around 2010 android introduced it takes ios and android nearly 1 to 7 to reach and 1 to 4 to make this as perfect os but look at windows introduced in 2012 and get fullfilled in 2014 only two years.
Way to go microsoft.
About nokia they should improved symbian os and make it touch enabled then the will be king of the os still symbian multitasking is better than windows 8.they will put a better fight to android and and ios.i am still using hacked symbian and using androids notification center on nokia
madeandy, 14 Nov 2013I felt like I threw away my money buying that Lumia 720! I couldn't phantom ever leaving Nokia... moresame here. I have to make a choice whether to stick with nokia that has that crapy wp8 or switch to android or possible jolla which can run android apps.
well nokia is really good the only 2 problems us that they need to have more apps and they need to have Web browser filter like k9.
I would buy a WP8 if it had an option of a phone keypad for messaging as not everyone wants to type individual letters and a phone key pad has larger buttons for mens fingers. If the tiles were not regimented as your home screen but could be made to be on the second screen then i would go for it. Again not everyone was to be plastered with apps on home screen or tiles. Yes you can move some into folders, but why not simply have it on your second screen so you can have your wallpaper as you home screen after unlock just like android does. happy blend , just tweaking.
I wish some peeps would wise up and stop putting windows down all the time. Its really good once you get the hang of it. Its only a baby still. But its moving so darn fast. the only way is up people.
As for android, its had a good few years in the making, Its ok. Bit old looking now. Windows is an eye catcher.
i predict windows will be the window to the future.

Oh, come on Nokia!! We don't need this gimmicky things. Air gesture ?
Crap enough for me...
Where's better battery improvement, text sounding, better voice recognition ? Now that's more an improvement for me...
Forget following what others have done, especially those gimmicky stuffs...
Really love my 920. Hope to keep it longer with further updates that would really fulfill my needs..
Lumia was awesome,
the only bad thing(for now) is about notification center, i hope 8.1 will solve this problem, and its gonna be great!!

An I absolutely love my 720.
hopefully at least one of the two is a midrange device, lumia 72x or something like that, would be a welcome update to my 710
AnonD-206020, 14 Nov 2013I tryed wp8 and i dont like it. almost no apps and so.still with no apps crying, come with something else
My Lumia 925 is freaking awesome. The body looks great metallic, it feels very rich, awesome camera too. I initially thought I wasn't going to enjoy switching from Android to WP but I was wrong. WP8 is a great OS that is fast, efficient and just different. It stands out of the crowd.
I used to have several Nokia phones back in the day. After I lost my Motorola Razr V3 (I miss it!), I bought myself an XpressMusic 5800 that served me really well. As Symbian started to become bad, I got myself an iPhone 3GS in 2010 that was good and served me well too. Last year switched to Samsung Galaxy S3 that has been really good. But it feels great to be back with Nokia. I think they are really good again! My next phone is definitely a Lumia but I don't feel like getting a phablet, just wanna stick with 4.5-ish screens.
I felt like I threw away my money buying that Lumia 720! I couldn't phantom ever leaving Nokia...but I did!
