I have been very please with my Ascend P6. There have been no heating issues (even with cover and screen protector). My battery lasts 1.5 - 2.5 days usage dependant. Speed and smoothness is also great. Calls are great, sound quality fine, just the ext speaker is a bit soft.

Regarding the update, it seems that often people want an update just for the updates sake(possibly bragging rights amongst high-school kids). I have an i9000 on 2.3.3 and now the P6 on 4.2.2 and truth be told, they kinda act similarly. Just some small differences (widgets and such). All the hype about "Huawei better update or else" tells me more about the commentor than Huawei.

Come-on guys they are phones. Not some life support devices. If you are worried about support get a sony

Android 4.4 - If Huawei wants any chance of maintaining its sales it MUST keep its promises and regularly send out software updates or its customer base will vote with their wallets.

Can only agree with all the comments here on Huawei upgrades. I purchased 2 Ascend D1 Quad cores and they are fantastic phones. The upgrade promised months ago has still not eventuated. If Huawei wants any chance of maintaining its sales it MUST keep its promises and regularly send out software updates or its customer base will vote with their wallets.

I am using a Huawei Ascend P6 and it has given me no problems whatsoever whereas my previous phone - the popular Samsung Galaxy Note 2 had to be sent back for repairs on three different occasions. The Ascend P6 is fast, sleek and super-cool. Highly recommended.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-11-15 20:14 from upi3 - click to readHUAWEI is a cheat co. And is just another Chinese co. And expecting it to be any different is like building castles in the air. They make products which are just good for use and throw. I don't know why someone should buy Huawei. Their promises for updates are as good as their products . TAKE YOUR CALL.
