HTC Iolite leaks through an onilne retailer, surely looks nice

it looks sort of like a more rounded version of the Sprint version of the Touch Pro. The specs seem to be almost exactly the same as well other than the 2.8 screen. I'm hoping to see more cool devices from HTC in 09 so I really hope they do something different with this and not just let it be a rehash of the touch diamond. The touch pro was a great remake because of the keyboard and the better specs but I don't think we need another..

I really do not get it. Why do they keep on launching the same looking phones, one after another, with almost identical features, specs, qualities and even design? I don't get it.

HTC! do not go that way and do not CLONE it's own devices! why is that model for? Cruise with more memory? nothing new. and worse than Diamond.
unless it's the "civic" version of XDA Guide.

Surely a nice phone but HTC seem to follow Nokia market strategy by releasing "new" phones with less/same features than/as the previous ones and at almost the same price (or higher). HTC innovation not so innovative so far let's see what CES 09 brings.
