A lot of people will buy this phone I think but I don't see it anywhere on Google yet.

wrong os choice.... windows mobile is the slowest and the buggiest os on the phone market. bulky os and very slow... try webos of palm, its really fantastic.... never use any windows for phone... its not worth it... use an unix like or linux like and has to be web os type like the palm webos or linux or osx.
......... this phone should be a hit except it is running windows that is extremely slow and very buggy....

> In reply to Almon @ 2009-01-09 09:33 from whBTI use iBeam to send and receive business cards on the iPhone.
By email, by wireless network to another iBeam user or by generating a barcode which can be read by a phone with a barcode reader eg. Nokia E71, N96, N82 etc.
The usual misinformation from someone who has never used one or if they have is ignorant of it's full capabilities.

> In reply to Almon @ 2009-01-09 09:33 from whBTI don't hate my iPhone, I like it a lot.
It's a handheld computer with phone bits added.
The applications now available make it very good to own, there is always something new.
It's the first time in years that I prefer using my phone to my PC, which I find I am using less and less.
Anyway this new phone looks like it will be limited in where it is sold and I don't see much chance of being able to buy one unless you're in North America.

I just hate it when people keep praising the Iphone! It's all hype! Everyone I know who has an Iphone hates it! It can't even do those simple things like receiving business cards and stuff! One more thing I oh so despise is when people dubb touch screens as Iphone copycats! Iphone is not the first touch phone! People like this are just so blind just like I was. Man I hate them!

FYI Iphone was not the first touch screen, MP3, camera, web surfing and gps phone on the market. Imate, HP, Nokia and HTC are just a few that have been building phones with all of the above items long before Apple. This Pharos phone looks to be a great addition to all the GPS phones out their.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-01-08 09:40 from MJ0fIPhone copy ? Iphone has a very simple yet effective design, kept in mind massive display rather than stacking so many buttons up and down. Every touch based phone will have its success based on the factor tht how big is its display, thats another reason HTC HD and SOny X1 are so much in demand or the coming Nokia N97.
P.S. Talk abt design ??? Ipod, Iphone (2G) and then Iphone (3G) all carbon copy .... (THE DESIGN) where's apple innovation ??? eh:/

this phone supports 1 band of ATT 3G. Will it make a difference if ATT requires HSDPA of 3.6MB for phones and this phone is a 7.2MB HSDPA?

This phone is so amazing, it brang a tear to my eye. The technology on this phone makes it the type of phone lorry drivers have been wanting for decades.
The main attraction to this phone is the capability to predict where you are traveling at a 98% accuracy. For instance if i was travelling down the A10 at speed limit of 73 mph (giving that they allow a 3 mph over the national speed limit) then it can predict that i would turn off for the M25 by anaylsis previous journeys. so if by any chance i forget where im going, im sorted :)
Well done Pharos
