Anonymous, 01 Dec 2013Q1 means Q4 for LGAnd Q4 means Q200000000 for Samsung.
Ryo Saeba, 30 Nov 2013I'm in no hurry honestly. I mean what can KitKat do that 4.2.2 can't? My phone is super stab... moreWhy install a flashlight app when it has one built in as a widget? Works good also. Will allow single on/off or strobe.
Q1 means Q4 for LG
I hope LG is paying attention, they finally got a device that put their name on the spotlight and they don't get it that will quickly loose it if they don't catch up with the competition. My main reason for ditching brands is for their lack of fast and reliable support. For the time being Ill stop recommending it.

The same old story with LG. I remember when i first bought the optimus 2x back in the day and it has amazing specs but crappy software. Its the same with this one. Lg never provides software updates as fast as the other phone makers. Such a shame, and out of my personal experience rooting and installing cm doesnt solve all the issues...not to mention devs quickly forget about LG phones....
The first thing is battery, 3000 vs 2600, plus good optimization, bigger better screen.

No matter how good my batter life is, if an update comes out that gives me better battery life I'll always take it.
I'm pissed off about this why to wait until march and also there is no 4.3 update.
The CAM on My lgg2 is so slow.. And in lower lifghts the focus is useless.. Or Else an great phone with batteri life that is amazing ..and screen and speed is ok..I don't care about kit kat but lg really need to fix the focus now before I'll retire the phone completely ...
the battery life is great and the best i have ever used.
it is the best android handset to date. it only has one issue the bluetooth sometimes disconnect

I've already read many comparisons between G2 and S4 at many websites. However, all I need to know is user experience using G2 after couple of weeks or months.
Again, I need to ask, do You really impressed with its battery life? Thanks for sharing.
Anonymous, 30 Nov 2013lg g2 owners....u mad?Perhaps not the G2 owners...but the G & G Pro users are.

And IMO, the LG skin is much better then the Samsung skin. My wife has a Note 2 so this is first hand experience.
Great news for G2 owners, hope Optimus G nad G Pro gets same treatment, imo even Optimus 4X shoud get kitkat...sincerely hope my e975 gets official 4.4 otherwise it will be my firs and my last smartphone from LG...i will even ignore buying Nexus 5 or G2...
LG G2... Well, I'm coming to this S4's challenger as my S3 getting older. Nice to try LG's flagship for the very first time, and I plan to get it at the end of this year. Can anyone tell me what's the main advantage of G2 over S3? Thanks in advance.
AnonD-151727, 30 Nov 2013nobody is forcing you to upgrade..you don't want it..don't get it..this is not the vEgetable brandMy comment was mainly focused on people who bash non-nexus devices that they don't always get the latest and greatest Android build. Sorry for the confusion.
Iskander, 30 Nov 2013Oddly enough, the article about the G2 getting the kitkat update already in Korea is more diff... moreTotally agree. I came from a Nexus 4 and I had to install a bunch of tweaks just to get some toggles/features that are already built into the LG skin. On top of that, naturally, all of the 3rd party widgets had their own looks so it wasn't uniform or had complete functions. The LG launcher is actually pretty customizable as well. You can use any picture you want as icons and it can even resize most widgets. I really don't see the need for 4.4 unless it fixed some serious problems, but I still have yet to find a problem that needs to be fixed.
Anonymous, 30 Nov 2013lg g2 owners....u mad?i think g2 owners are among the happiest right now..been for a while
