I have a UK T-mibile E71 but when I went to nokia it said my phone is already up to date but the frimwear is V100.??.??. does anyone know when and where I can upgrade? Many thanks in advance.

There is no update available in Europe yet. The last version is still 110.07.127.

I have a European version of E71. I downloaded the Nokia Software Updater (I'm a MAC user) but it kept telling me the file wasn't compressed...then I read from NOKIA's FAQ section that the Nokia Software Updater is not supported for MAC & only for Windows XP/Vista. WTF?!!
Is there a way to compress the file to enable use for MAC? Pls. help.

I have nokia E61i Indonesian version, and it can't display chinese character in web browser, SMS client. I fix this by changing the product code from Indonesia to ASPAC with NSS (nokia software service).
So my wild guess on the chinese language improvement on europe firmware would be you can browse chinese language web site on the internet with web browser (and/or SMS).

How can you be pissed off that gsmarena provided a change log for an E71 firmware update?, yet the E71 is Nokia’s most popular business/email oriented phone. It has a large following that will benefit form the news. Like I said before you need to engage your brains before typing, that way you can spare yourself the embarrassment of making comments that are pathetic to say the least.
You continually go on and on about how gsmarena is biased towards Nokia without substantiating your thoughts. However, no one is holding a gun to your head forcing you to visit gsmarena, after all there are numerous competitor websites to gsmarena. Or better yet, why don’t you start your own website that will carry all the Samsung and Sony Erricson news that your are craving for, seeing domain names are now as cheap as $15…………
