The Locate Sensor is still a prototype, but we really hope it'll leave the Nokia...

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-01-14 03:53 from q2aI - click to readonly 100m cos its not gps device, no sattelite support, only a bluetooth/wifi style signal... and that sure beats the usual bluetooth 10m limit

Reminds me of my Nike+ system :). It a nice piece of gadget though. wouldn't mind getting my hands on it. hope it comes in a casing so you can easily attach it to keychain or whatever.

A good idea in principle, but constantly recharging it just defeats the purpose...what if you forget to charge it then can't find it?

"You can keep an eye on more than one item as the application supports up to 100 different tags."

Are you kiddind me? Bluetooth networks support at max 8 devices. 1 master and 7 slaves, normally.

Doubtful it is wifi based.
