Vivo Xplay 3S and its QHD screen go official - read the full textUpdate: Never mind the leaks, the real deal is out. It has a bigger than expected 6" screen with the amazing QHD resolution (sometimes called 2K, but either way both refer to 2,560 x 1,440). That gives it a whopping 490ppi pixel density, higher than even the 4.7" 1080p screen of the HTC One despite...

> In reply to Rated Droid Army @ 2013-12-18 16:58 from fxQL - click to readActually note 3 is faster. Due to the lower res it draws things faster. Also 1440p looks identical to 1080p. Lastly Note's blacks are far superior, so yeah you have the better device.

Of course my assertion won't stop you believing otherwise, bigger numbers would always impress the ill informed...

Galaxy S5 will have flexible 2k screen with 560 ppi, and better camera then previous S4.

> In reply to wiseguy @ 2013-12-18 17:11 from 98bP - click to readI very much doubt s5 would be 6 inches. Note 3 is smaller than that even. Also if the rumours are true and they are going for 64bits processor it would be silly to use 3gigs of ram, then why even go 64bits. So snapie 805 - 3 gigs of ram, exynos 64 bit - 4 gigs, me thinks about s5...

As for this phone great specs, just too big for everyday use. Great as a small tablet though...

This phone is the note 3 and iPhone 5s killer, apple and Samsung needs to work hard to kill this beast

At this price, it's a nice deal but the only shortcoming is the battery life of this phone which is definitely not enough to power this kind of specifications, also there will be heating issue because of this much resolution needs the GPU to stress all the time to move the pixels which will result in CPU and GPU overworking and then heating up the phablet and heat is an enemy to all the batteries. This kind of specs needs at least 6000 mAh or higher capacity batteries to get going for at least a day without charging.

Total waste of battery life. Your eyes can't see the difference between 1080p and 2k. Why don't phone manufacturers focus on improving color, contrast, and viewing angles instead?

> In reply to Rahul Balana @ 2013-12-18 17:14 from utRc - click to readI knew I've seen that camera app before:), it was used by a "small" company - Nokia, so no one will notice the steal, too bad we live in this kind of world, from what country is vivo?:) I won't even look up for it as I already know the answer, I hope for them to have a really "good" life...

490 ppi? Wow, that's something. Viva el vivo! The screen size leaves much to be desired and I'm not sure how pocket-able this one could be, so I think I'll pass. But Top notch specs nonetheless.

Well the name leaves a bit to be desired. But the rest of the device is good. i guess the camera and the display are the standout bits from the other top end phones out. An overall good device.
