Shinigami, 19 Dec 2013Can't find any info on microSD slot. 16gb is not my vision of ideal storage (11gb available). The MicroSD slot needs to be close to maintain water resistance.
ch0ice...
I am willing to pay for the quality of Z1F than the mass produced Z1S
Mr Grumpy, 19 Dec 2013Come on Sony, make that damn battery removable for goodness sake, enough already with the fixe... moreDoes the iPhone, the best selling phone, have a removable battery? Didn't think so....stop your whining. So many spoiled brats on here going on about I want this I want that and so on! Give it a rest please!
Shinigami, 19 Dec 2013Can't find any info on microSD slot. 16gb is not my vision of ideal storage (11gb available).Check it under rumor mill, it's the first phone there. GSMArena says it has support for SD card up to 64GB, which is logical if it will be Z1 compressed to 4,3 inches.

Okay this was supposed to be the first true mini flagship. But with Sony taking ages to release it I'm afraid by the time it's gonna be official, Samsung might already release an S5 mini with similar specs.
I want that yellow one and I want it yesterday. If that same color was available for Z1 I would buy it in a heartbeat, but 4,3 is not that small. It would be a great improvement over my current Xperia S even thou screen would still be below the best in the business (LG G2 and HTC One). And for anyone saying you can't see difference over 300 PPI, FullHD screens are not built for having higher PPI value, but to allow you to actually watch FullHD content on the screen. Whats the point of watching 1080p content if your screen shows only 44,44% of each frame.
madeandy, 19 Dec 2013It appears to me Sony has lost their sense of nomenclature...am getting really confused to how... morehow? the s in z1s stand for small lol
1 poor thing can ruin whole phone. thats for hi-end and it has such price. for ex. to survive drop.
Mr Grumpy, 19 Dec 2013Come on Sony, make that damn battery removable for goodness sake, enough already with the fixe... moremaybe the trade off would be non water proof?
as long as it lasts the day I personally would be bothered

If the S4 goes for 550 EUR, why should a high end spec phone in a smaller and more desirable case should go for 250 EUR?Sony is the ONLY brand atm that offers the same specs in the mini version as their bigger brothers, except the full HD feature which is barely noticeable to the human eye (330 ppi compared to 430)

Mr Grumpy, 19 Dec 2013Come on Sony, make that damn battery removable for goodness sake, enough already with the fixe... moreyes you can remove it by yourself
@Mr Grumpy: If it is better for the water protection I think it's no problem if the battery is not removable(other phones have failed under water for this reason). When was te last time you changed the battery of you phone? And anyway, it's not glued inside the case, it's just that it's not that easy to change it.
Mr Grumpy, 19 Dec 2013Come on Sony, make that damn battery removable for goodness sake, enough already with the fixe... moreLol, it is sad that nowadays many smartphone OEMs doesn't produce smartphone with removable battery, tot it is not a big deal for me.
