i was hoping they improve the g1 this year. i like everything about g1 except its looks! the physical keyboard is impressive (and its a must for me)but the chunk of metal jus below the screen is annoying, that part doesnt even slide which is jus annoying. htc should design the next android phone more like nokia n97!

The first G1 is the biggest failure as i know in my store. The feature can be compared to the iphone 3G but the design is too HUGH! :). I hope G2 will be better!!!

I think it is too soon for the new undroid phone to come out on market.
First one has alots of good feedback as well as negative, hope that new one will be much better.
So far i prefer nokia to iPhone, G1 and all other smart phones.
Viva La Nokia!

Well, I actually think the HTC Android handsets look kinda cute!
What I'd want to see from them though is better camera and display, but most importantly, more storage built in, or in the retail box.

We all know that HTC has the ability to make fantastic looking phones (HTC Cruise, HTC HD etc), yet it seems they save their worst design for TMobile/Android phones. Who knew that they could actually come up with a design uglier that the G1, but if this is what the G2 looks like then they have managed to pull it off. The other chap said it right when he said it looks like a bar of soap. The design is extremely ugly & the material looks like cheap plastic, At least they were smart enough to get rid of that curve at the bottom of the G1. A lot of people will miss the slode out keyboard though, but it does make the phone slimmer. Come on HTC, we know you can do a much better design.
