I did preorder my device when it was published (end of May 13) and it was shipped directly from Jolla, so those ones didn't affect DNA sales.

There's been a couple of annoyances, with the store and battery draining bug. But many bugs were already fixed and also the battery consumption can be fixed with terminal, improving use time up to 6 days. Jolla says that they'll fix the battery bug also during January, so updates have been coming smoothly.

So far I'm satisfied with the device and it's a good replacement for my old N9.

If a three year old start-up wanted to come out with a better phone than the rest of the market, they wouldn't come out with a new os. Jolla was founded to provide consumers with an alternative because they think they can bring something new to the market. The fact that the specs of the phone aren't the best is a different race. Then it's up to the customer to choose whatever manufacturer he/she likes. By supporting alternative ideas that have something different to offer, compared to the mainstream of products, the consumer can ensure a healthy market so to speak. Sometimes better always isn't better. What is "better" anyway?

this phone is great. my friend has it and it is very unique. the haters on this post should not even spend time writing their opinion if they are iphone lovers....if you love iphone that much, then why are you even reading that article??? to me that implies that Jolla is actually gaining interest and attention.

The interesting part is to see next month sales when all the jolla fans arent buying it anymore.
