No sign of update yet!!!
Got my phone two weeks ago and I got the kitkat update last week. There are some improvements in camera speed and battery life for moto G and all the other kitkat goodies I saw previously on my nexus 4. You will love your Moto G even more after getting the update.
Phone not available in very many countries
Nexus 5 was launched with kitkat already...
Just ran system updates on my moto g two minutes prior to this post. No update. Never surprised, just disappointed by large organisation incompetence and communication fail.

Yeah! I received the update automatically this morning! :-) I've got the german 8GB version of the Moto G bought through Amazon.de
Go Moto go!
I find it hard to believe Motorola putting Kit-Kat on an entry level smartphone.
They never offered even Jellybean on the Motoluxe Phones.
If Kit-Kat takes up too much memory on the phone it will suffer in performance.
UK Sim Free 16Gb version - nothing yet. 17:16 07/01/2014
