Seriously... Why isnt there a flagship phone with a qwerty?

The last Android phone I had was a single-core 1Ghz processor with 512mb RAM. It ran great for my uses.
The spec's of the F3Q seems like overkill, but perhaps the newer OS'es are a lot heavier on resources.

And best of all would be if it had the Sharp IGZO Full HD 4.5" display on top of that.

I meant not heading -outside- the US.

... moreyou spoke my heart!
how about a pureview 360 deg rotating camera phone?
or a double slider WP with music n dialer with capacitive buttons , like the dialer opens and lit up when you slide and people or log opens, and music stuff opens from the other side...
AnonD-173154, 17 Jan 2014Desire Z was the best phone I ever had. End of. I miss it so much.Mine had sleep of death issues, had to pull the battery almost daily, the keyboard soon got bad keys that had to be pressed extremely hard, that happened after just a few months. The software bugs were immense and never got fixed in updates, files would disappear and deleted files reappear. Display was good but very inaccurate colors, white temperate was very much on the warm side to the point that everything had a yellow tint but it wasnt too annoying when got used to it. HTC Sense would crash and restart itself several times a day, im sure you seen it also but maybe didnt know what it was, when icons didnt apppear on the homescreen and then slowly it repopulated? Would always render the phone useless for more than half a minute when it happened.
It felt premium in the hand and looked good, except the battery cover, the clear paint peeled off too easily making it look old and ugly. Didnt take long before i had to scrape off all the paint to make it look better.
All in all the worst phone i had and i will never buy anything from HTC again.
It has a very big battery. Biggest I've ever seen in a QWERTY. Phones have reached a point where entry level or flagship doesn't really matter for day to day performance. It should work just fine

Now put a QWERTY on a Sony Xperia Z1, Z Ultra (with flash) or any Samsung Note & we are in business. Enjoyed every QWERTY device I have own. Cant forget HTC Shift & Advantage too... those were good times! :D
Anonymous, 16 Jan 2014Always admired the e7 but lack of SD card put me off. Always wanted n900 internals in the e7's body.I consider N900 to be the best phone of all times and E7 and N97 some of the worst, had the worst keyboard mechanism, so violent opening, and hard to open also, especially with one hand. N900 was perfect, no need to use the unlock button, just slide the keyboard open with one hand and thats it, a joy to use. Opening an N97 otoh was a scary experience, one would open it as rarely as possible.
HTC Desire Z is another example of smooth operating mechanism, the Z hinge was genius and worked very well, too bad the rest of the phone was HTC quality all the way, very defective as always.
I am pleased a manufacturer is finaly developing a phone with a keyboard.
I wonder if it will be available in Europe, as so many have been destined for North America.
