I have the 5300, which is a little basic but very reliable. I've been using it for a while and have encountered miniscule probelms. It would have been even better than the newest Nokias.

i don't see forward facing camera, but, since 6300 did not support video-conference, i think this one doesn't support either...

I'm very interested in the 6700. Looks a nice update of my 6500 classic that I have gone back to using since I can't get on with my s60 E66.

Great Strategyby Nokia, these would set the company on track to gain their lost market share in Q4, 2008

Why does it say S60 in a lot of Nordic websites and S40 in others? Does anyone have the proper info?

And for being an S60 device, the screen should have been bigger. There is to much space between the number buttons and the screen wasted to ugly design nonsense, like with the 6300.

Actually, i would rather they revamped and upgraded the 6500 Classic slim bar series to 5mp and S60 software, now that would be a beauty. The 6300 always looked kinda cheap and a bit ugly with the black part of the screen covering the menu buttons.

I have a 6300 as a work phone, and I absolutely love it.
It's beautiful, elegant, reliable and simple.
The 6700 is a triumph: it's just as beautiful, simple and elegant, and it just does more stuff!
Great addition to the S40 lineup, and worthy successor to the 6300.

I like the back design of the phone... Looks pretty elegant.
In other notes: I used to remember the model numbers and the designs for Nokias... now, I'm just lost in these 'random' 4-digit craziness for Nokia models...
Oh, well... Too much of a good thing...

> In reply to Erick @ 2009-01-29 15:22 from ji{R - click to readYes. You are right. For those who are into music, there is the 5610xm and the upcoming 5730xm. The price of the 5800xm will also have fallen by the time the 6700 is released.
There is also the 6210 navigator, n73, plus many more.
Its a good looking phone with nice features but its in for a rough ride considering all the alternatives. I guess it will start to pick up after its price falls below 200 euros.
