i have seen a demo video of this phone at my company's anual meeting (ie SFR france) and can assure you the screen is capacitative. ON first thoughts the phone on the video seemed like a definite real iphone killer

It was released in the first quarter of 2004. The Nokia 7710 was only released in the fourth quarter of 2004. So once again, Motorola made the first breakthrough in mobile technology.

why all these winmo comments? can you not read? it is not a winmo UI, it is 'similar to iphones UI' both in their words, and as can be deduced by the pictures... is iphone winmo? no. does it look like winmo? no... perhaps its not then..
