French government website lists HTC One 2 single and dual-SIM - read the full textThere have been a lot of purported names for the HTC One's successor flying around the internet; the One+, the M8, but it looks like these previous stories are false, that is, if a report by a French government website is to be believed. The HTC One successor may be called the One 2, and...

I don't mind having a 5" screen, but 4.7" makes absolutely ZERO difference. Smaller size gives it more pixel density btw. If you read any reviews on HTC One then you'd know that HTC went with lower clocked Snapdragon 600 then Samsung intentionally: to get better battery time. There is very little difference in battery life between these two. As for the camera, I already commented: I prefer high quality 4 Mpx with OIS over average quality 8 or 13 Mpx.

I never used microSD card since 32/64 GB is enough for me but OK, I give you that argument.

Now when you stated what you think are cons, what about pros? Aluminium body, powerful front facing speakers, much more advance Sense UI w/ KitKat (and features like Zoe, BlinkFeed etc.)?

The only reason why HTC One doesn't sell better is bad or non existing marketing. Take every bit of HTC One and compare it to Galaxy S4 or XZ1 and tell me where is One behind them? Camera? Maybe, if you only compare pictures in ideal light conditions. Anything else? How about build quality, sound, software etc. Did S5 get KitKat?

First of all, successor of HTC One 2 wouldn't be "HTC One 2 3" but "HTC One 3" so stop being silly. Second, this are just speculations, I really doubt that this will be its final name. My guess is HTC One (2014) just like e.g. Nexus 7.

Btw, I'm very excited about this phone! I like the premium build quallity and low light camera performance HTC One has. If you ask me, they don't need to change the design one bit. Few more Mpx/Upx wouldn't hurt though.

You should note that this (smallish) mobile operator is based in New Caledonia, a French territory in the South Pacific. It probably means that this dual-SIM phone won't be sold worldwide, only in the ASEAN trade zone.
