Ive had the Arena for about a month now. I was extremely dissapointed when I realized after hours of research on the phone that this model is different than the ones over seas. But after a day of playing with it, I LOVE IT! It has its quirks, I dont like the headphone jack but having four screens is quick! I havent had the problems with shutting down or locking up YET. Its fun to play with, you can customize it however you like. Both locking buttons are easy to navigate. Texting on the virtual keyboard is alot easier than I thought. I can text just as fast on this as I could on my blackberry after some getting used to. I would definatly reccomend this phone!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!

You should call this the most buggy phone of the last 3 years.
I never had one with more bugs (beside the Siemens SXG75) like this phone (can we call it PHONE?).
It resets itself, it locks randomly, it disconnects while transferring data via USB, BT or WLAN.
Camera locks up and has an awful shooting LG using stuff from year 1990?
And try to play the high prised DIVX....
One more thing...the holds for almost 12

Well the new iPhone is gonna be released or showcased in june. Can't wait to see the competition jumping all over them selves trying to rip-off bits and pieces of it. Seriously the only way to beat the iPhone is to be original and not rip it off. To beat the best you have to be better than the best, imitation (no matter how discreetly its done) will get you no where!

As long as the unit is running WinMO, it will NEVER surpass the iPhone. No phone can surpass the success of the iPhone. All of them will be just AND always will be iPhone-wannabes.

> In reply to nib @ 2009-02-06 15:56 from GLNj - click to readGreat phone just like the i-Phone.. "Hope its better though", but nothing compared to Windows Mobile.. I have the HTC Diamond and right now with the latest Updates and software, no phone can match its features and speed.. With Windows Mobile nothing is impossible, you can turn your phone to anything you want. All you need is guidance from PDA websites and forums and you'll never change to other OS, Not ever!!
I'm only talking about software here, not hardware, cause the diamonds battery sucks and the loudspeaker sucks too.. Other than that the device has a very decent hardware features..

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-02-06 08:31 from Yai0 - click to readthe iPhone's strength is NOT it's hardware or applications - or lack of as it where....people always seem to focus on the iPhone's shortcomings but it's real strength is in its SOFTWARE, it's OS which has been designed and engineered for touchscreen interface....that is what gives it a very smooth, very intuitive and near flawless interface....

As long as Microsoft does not improve its WM6.1 Apple has the best phone on the market. I am not a iphone lover, but Windows Mobile and Nokia 5800 S60 suck. The ones who prefer WM6.1 are geeks. And these would also be happy with only a linux console one the phone.

Can anybody tell me why Manufacturers are not increasing their pressure on MS to bring a new System?

Looks very like an iphone but it has the features iphone is lacking.
If it will be simple enough to use aswell and have a good UI I will buy it.
I don't really like the hassle of smartphones, the UI and features of my W902 are pretty much all I want and need.
The only thing that's missing is replacing the keypad with more screen so I could enjoy the media with the swipe of my finger. :)

I like this phone, because it will have almost all capabilities ordinary phone can have, and not like one iphone-scum!!
I wonder if this have stereo like nokia 5800, and will this thing view flash media on the web like youtube, bbc or cnn!
Battery live is not that much, I gues that is because is shielded aluminum case and will use more battery power to keep online the device!

yeah, i guess this looks kinda like an iphone - but it's made entirely of metal, and all of the specs are much better than the iphone, except the UI which we don't really know much about anyway. i'd buy this over the iphone any day for those specs
