How to roll back this shiny update? Android OS eats 46% of battery. Hardly can survive a day with it.

Battery drains fast, really fast after the update. EOD battery used to be around 55% now its 38%. Seriously hope Sony solves this with 4.4.2....

My laptop is still downloading update Latest available software: 10.4.1.B.0.101 and it has already done 40 MB. The phone is attached to the laptop through usb and does not respond. What is the actual size of the update in MB? Is it safe to detatch the phone from the laptop?
