it's an android without google and mixed with windows....some applications in usual use might not work likely the google android
Nokia never build android phone
Nokia should come up with flagship android device to blow its competitors out of the market.... But its a very good start with mid-range android device...
I believe Nokia Has the potential to mass produce Android based phone... I've been loyal costumer for samms since 5 years ago when 1st Generation Of Galaxies came out. Then Gtab 7 plus, SGS2, SGS3 and now still with GMega 6.3. But i really gonna considering to change my next phone brand.
UI(user interface)must be good otherwise useless and complicated like windows phone with best hardware and camera....
this will be nice - this device will not have access to google market =)) lol - nokia market :))

I think this is a good start for Nokia using Android. I can see there could be a huge developer and fans community who will eagerly create custom ROMS for Normandy so it could be the best of both worlds: Nokia with full Android. Just think about doing the same modding to unfork Android like some people do with Kindle Fire products. I wouldn't mind having this as my secondary phone.
No one care about about that today, too late for 3/4 years, Elop wasted time, today the dont make success. If they did it in 2010, 2011 maybe they have chance, it's a deliberate lie by MS to show us Nokia + Android = defeat. Yes because is too late...but you can thank Elop.
A tasteless adventure of Nokia !
its not open source there is no play market
Woow! Whats the exact date? I'm a great addict of Nokia and since my N900 charging gave me problems I have dumped it hoping for a Nokia android.
i personally think that a lumia 320 would be a better option than this one.
Shadab, 11 Feb 2014Its possible bro every thing possible reson work hard and very hard android open source platfo... moreNo .. not really, there is two part of Android, one is open source which provide the basics, and the other one is a proprietary for Google which is not open source, and Google makes it harder to fork it with every version of Android.
frh, 11 Feb 2014MS will be forced to provide support for an Open Source device. lol. Way to go Nokia, only you... moreYou know that Microsoft have open source projects? the use them and produce them, it's not black and white ... you know!

toss, 11 Feb 2014nokia's android without google play...isn't it funny?...it is like a joke without humor in itNo, it's less chance of downloading some crappy app/game with malware...

AnonD-59657, 11 Feb 2014Nokia betrayed Stephen Elop to embrace Android! Stephen Elop will become the new CEO for th... moreNo. Nokia worked out Flop was on a mission to destroy them, so MS could get them on the cheap. Of course if I were MS now, the first thing I would do is dump Flop ASAP. After all if you can stab Nokia in the back once, why not MS next time around. He is clearly only loyal to his own bank balance.
