I've watched the video and honestly I didn't see anything interesting. Perhaps there are indeed improvements but I didn't see it as significant.

The more I look at it, the more I feel confused with Windows Phone layout design, menu, settings etc are all over the place.

Maybe I should reconsider buying a WP. It didn't look as simple as it used to be.

> In reply to Dan @ 2014-02-12 17:17 from L2Tf - click to readwhats the point with all those tiles?

you wouldnt be able to see your picture

in the pictures hub a random picture is chosen as your background but thats it. oh and a customizable lock-screen

android and apple can get away with it because they have those small icons

wp has tiles with almost no space between them and they are not transparent/translucent. plus the start screen has infinite scrolling.

when you put all that together a custom background on wp would have to be static instead of dynamic... i dont think that is what people want

i have been trying to imagine what a live wall paper on my wp start screen would look like but i just think of it as off putting.

but then again i am a biochemist not a graphic artist
