> In reply to Anonymous @ 2014-02-18 15:13 from vGV3 - click to readProblem is, Apple doesn't invent it... Fingerprint recognition is available since, hell, ever!

What, did they invent "retina display"? It's just a screen with a better resolution...

I could keep going and going and going...

Apple sues Samsung not because Samsung is copying stuff Apple invented but because Apple simply owns the patents, period.

Now, I do think S5 using fingerprint recognition is lame, not because they're copying Apple but because they're using something useles...

Steve Jobs’ own words:
“We have been ‘ShameLESS’ about stealing great ideas”.

Sued Samsung:
At a court 10 miles from Apple HQ.
With a Judge that was a former Apple Lawyer.
And a Jury Forman sued into bankruptcy by a partially owned Samsung Company.

MS Bailed Apple: “I called up Bill and said, “I’m going to turn this thing around.” Bill always had a soft spot for Apple. We got him into the application software business. The first Microsoft apps were Excel and Word for the Mac. So I called him and said, “I need help.” Microsoft was walking over Apple’s patents. I said, “If we kept up our lawsuits, a few years from now we could win a billion-dollar patent suit. You know it, and I know it. But Apple’s not going to survive that long if we’re at war. I know that. So let’s figure out how to settle this right away. All I need is a commitment that Microsoft will keep developing for the Mac and an investment by Microsoft in Apple so it has a stake in our success.

Nobody ever mentions how China is the Xerox of the world copying everything they can think of but because Sammy is such a threat they get all jittery, all I can do is laugh HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

No matter what apple invents , there are always people who discourages it.

I dont understand all these IPhone/Andriod fanboys always complaing, Im probably guessing iPhone users have commented on being a copycat this and that. How about grow up seriously everything AND I MEAN EVERYTHING is designed and created based on someone's else design. So how about instead of fighting and complaining what these company's need to do is come together and build the perfect device. Image Andriod software on an Iphone BEAST!
Soooo grow up! and remember keep the comments related to the post!

> In reply to Gridloc @ 2014-02-18 14:09 from mFAD - click to readthe LG G2 had the fingerprint scanner before the iphone. Dont be so daft and think that everything is done by apple. Even the 3.5mm audio jack that every phone uses was made by samsung now every phone uses it. Ofcorse phones will move towrds newer tech fingerprint scanners retna scanners flex screen and in the end holographic i dont think its innovative anymore its just another step towards non physical devices. and as people say google glass is to weird just think about it when mobiles cameout with cameras everyone was like its not safe ppl and stuff now you cant get a cameraless phone same will happend with headgear tech people, same was the care with Note lineup when it launched everyone went its huge and its stupid and stuff now evyfhone is aroung 5" so just get over it and find the tech they give you useful.
