Can not it be Madeleine, because Madeleine is not a 5 O.S., is a 3.2 O.S., no touch. Do you agree? Madeleine must be 5730 xp.

Nokia will not release a phone with an 8mp camera anytime soon. Its not what theyre trying to do. 5mp is more than enough for what its aining at. An 8mp sensor on a device that size only makes images noisier anyway.
Samsung and LG are the ones that experiment with whacky camera pixelage, Nokia will be more location based stuff and they will try to make data/browsing/email a bigger priority than multimedia. They will concentrate on music with the XpressMusic range though.

> In reply to Zack @ 2009-02-12 15:23 from 3LX{ - click to readYou're expecting Nokia to jump into 10-12 mp race after a string of disappointing camphone performer? The last 3 great imaging devices were the 2 N95's and N82. Even carl zeiss stamped 5800 cam is a trash.

I don't think this is even news, probably a mix up by the GSM Arena editor. There is no other 2 devices from the pictures/video shown. The pictures shown are all just the N97, they might have considered putting the direction pad on the right instead of the left before (keeping it similar to the E90). As far as I can tell, all those pics are just the N97. Nokia would be very stupid if they leak info of their unannounce product themselves and on their own product webpage. You can get very clear and close up pics of the N97 at the mobile-review.com website.

Madeleine will be my next nokia: it has the same concept of n97 with a touch screen(only 0,3¨ smaller)and a keyboard,, maybe the cam would be less and so the memory, but it should be a bit smaller in size and the battry should be the same,, so being a mid-range should be like 200-300 euros, and i guess it will have that 600 mhz cpu too! a verygood deal!

These are models used in the process of creating the n97! Of course not equal to the final product (N97), but were used to test the type of keyboard, ergonomics, etc. Please, it's a nokia video talking about the design of N97

These devices should be successful in the market. Madeleine is presumably the qwerty keypad variant of the Nokia 5800 Express device. Given the sheer amount of features on-board the 5800 Express it can certainly be regarded as an N series device and a recent interview with senior Nokia executive indicated, it demonstrates Nokia's wish to introduce high level technology right across its range.
