Don't look only the sharpness @100%!- look how good the photos are in low light areas- no noise and color problems, the photos look rich and natural- Down-sample it to 13MP(50%W&H) and see if there is other camera that can match it!- this camera looks better then any other!.
McKnully, 09 Mar 2014The image quality is just bad.yes,exactly...it looks like 5 Mpx and NOT a 50 Mpx.
something VERY wrong here
when will they stop? when you'll be able to take one photo and your memory on phone will be full?
mir, 09 Mar 2014The daylight shots have a lot of noise. And some spots aside from the close ups are quite blurry. That's the problem with poor optics. You can have a decent sensor but if the optics are crap you get blurry images.
Over 80% of the phones out there are crippled due to sub standard optics. These phone may have decent sensors in them as it is but the poor optics just makes them perform much worse.
We need side by side comparisons. Just by looking at these sample pics, they don't look too bad either.

if 50mp with 260rotatable camera, i am sold.
if 50Mp without oversampling.
oh, I am not interested.
My Memory Card Will be crying. and 50mp is more noisy without oversampling.
Samsung Insider, 08 Mar 2014For a 50 MP camera, the pictures looks like taken from an 8 MP Chinese no name brand phone. Exactly my thought...
If you really want a very nice camera, dont buy a phone. Buy a camera, basher dude.
