Production issues may be plaguing the Galaxy S5 camera - read the full textA new, home-brewed ISOCELL sensor is at the heart of the Samsung Galaxy S5 camera, but it turns out there's a new, complicated lens system too. Perhaps too complicated ETNews is reporting that Samsung sees only 20-30% of the desired yield on the lenses. The new lens is made up of six plastic...

Just wanted to say that your post shows you are just fanboy ranting. You don't really have a clue here.
Things like claiming the Xperia design is fresh and new????? maybe if you go back to the first Xperia to use it like 100 phones ago....
And demolished them????

The biggest problem with the S5 camera is Samsung's tragic mistake skipping Optical Image Stabilization. This blunder is pushing me to the new HTC One, after I waited a long time hoping the S5 would have this critically important capability.

S5 is increasingly looking like a lame duck, especially when you already have the Note 3.

* New Design keeps things fresh (this coming from someone who uses more Samsung phones than Sony, I do have an Xperia S
* IPS screen - they ditched the flopped Z1 screen. Triluminos is now merely a branding. All for the better
* 20.7MP camera that actually has better quality than Z1 managed. Not like some ultra pixel rubbish
* Larger battery to go with IPS screen's already great battery life as seen on many other OEM's flagships who use IPS.
* Stereo Speakers so that some HTC zealots cant cry around saying they have stereo speakers on their phones. Besides which idiot listens to good music on two tiny speakers?? lol you use a audiophile headset for that or hook it up to REAL HiFi systems not puny speakers. So Sony covered that marketing gimmick too just incase.
*IP58 certified so it protects you from the accidental water splashes. Plus if you are so inclined you can take snaps and videos under water if you don't exceed rated depth and time.

What does HTC M8 have going for it? Stereo Speakers?? And two UPixel rubbish? Two for the price one huh? And no water resistance. Lol okay.... it's your money don't tell us that we didn't warn you.

Oh BTW don't pick battles if you are not up for it with your homework, I just demolished you. ;-)

Struggling Hard to Compete With Nokia Pureview.

Focusing on Quick Output, end up low Reliability.

On the last Samsung high end devices , you can change the great vivid colors with natural colors(if you want) with one click.

> In reply to [deleted post]I'm not saying this is better than the 40mp Nokia's...But what you just tried there??? You failed and it does not really make sense...Also those Nokia lenses are not that much better....Just many more pixels on a larger sensor....
Compare it to the 1520's 20MP Zeiss, OIS, 6 lens one and it is guaranteed to be better. Even the Note's only main disadvantage to the 1520 was low light...Which still was not a clear shot depending on the situation and camera mode.

> In reply to keke @ 2014-03-17 13:25 from Np}w - click to readNo logic to my assessment?????
You troll this page because you like HTC better and ignorantly state it's a good thing that this bad luck is happening and that it shows they can't produce a sensor even though they have done so for years and even make real cameras that are in the top dogs.
Yet one issue and it's a lens production issue not a sensor issue.....
And that is logical?????
Then you go on about HTC and crap.

So I point out that it does not make sense, yet I hope HTC builds good success of the One and the M8...

But I also point out the ignorance and your trolling.....

And the only response you can come up with is that there is no logic to my statement and then make up all these lies and accusations in a fanboy rant??????
Is there like some wire linking you to a hive mind that only shares lies and rudeness??????

It can give you more vivid colors than Z2 and can give you more natural colors, too.
This article is about S5 , though.
S5 has 2nits up to 500 nits brightness display WITH NO REFLECTION on AMOLED(wow).
The best out-door screen on the planet , now.
With better camera and better SoC (plus all the other functionality) S5 beats Z2 brick, to the ground

Trying to upstage Carl Zeiss and failing. No other lens is as incredible and there's a reason for that; it's not easy.

And to claim that an LCD is more vivid than an Amoled? Even triluminos??? Come on...seriously?
