willboyce, 21 Mar 2014I think it would make more sense for the likes of the white house to use windows. i dont think they will prefer windows phone, because as far as iam concern, there is a huge risk comming toward windows phone... windows desktop n windows phone platform will be merge together as one, meaning same virus n hacks will work on both system...ull be running the same software programs on both windows phone and pcs..after sometime. Microsoft might change their path...
They should keep with Blackberry, QNX OS is ultra stable, it's even used by NASA space shuttle!
Samsung Knox probably as secure as BB, but in term of stability, still way behind.
fonehunter, 21 Mar 2014They wouldn't want a toy phone for sure.Yes ,lg is just a toy company in front of Samsung.
I think it would make more sense for the likes of the white house to use windows.
Cause of "unspecified limitations". Iphone is no good hacking device,it's just for show offs...
i would say that, since there are rumours about U.S government spying in apple iphones, they are not going to use it themselves, since they know all those weakpoints of appe iphones.
Maybe the dev community could help out by releasing a "Pentagon Rom"? As it is, I don't think Android is secure enough.
laxis, 21 Mar 2014Why not iphone?? It's 'muricani believe the White House is customizing the Android and enhanced it to their level of security.
and since iOS cannot be customized, it's dismissed.
MY humble opinion is that they should choose Samsung from these two. But, I'm no fanboy of any brand.
My opinion just comes from the fact that Knox was in news as some group claimed to have found severe deficiencies. Samsung investigated and found that Knox is still secure and the deficiencies were caused by wrong personal settings.
So, Samsung might have actually reached a high security level. Plus, they're a global giant and are expected to survive on and on...
I still feel bad for Blackberry.... but remember, I felt bad for Symbian and the older Nokia too... Feeling bad won't postpone any older stuff's death. New things will continue to overtake older stuff and that's a fact.
