It's sad to see Nokia go out like this. Hats off to the legendary phone maker. On the other hand, MS has slowly been developing well, granted the pace has been slow. So I am also eager to see what they have in store for us. Ps' I read they got rights to the Nokia name so they might still use it once they realise changing it is a mistake and even Nokia themselves are allowed to use it in case they bounce back so hold thumbs
I'm Nokia's product lover. I used Nokia since 2001 until now!! It's really sad to lose the Nokia brand, maybe Nokia Lumia is My last Nokia product, after that I will stop to buy the Nokia product, because there will be no longer a handphone with Nokia brand.
I hope,nokia will be a history forever!! One request,when you make a
device for nokia,put its
usb port down always, put its headphones jak from middle to left, and try to put its simslot, micro sdslot inner side.finally need sterio sound speker.same as 920,810,822.

Mow, 23 Apr 2014True that N9. If Nokia switches to android, even now, they can catch up. Unless it was for a l... moreThey really wouldn't. The reason they failed with WP is that their phones were all released at premium prices (in comparison to other units). The name Nokia didn't have enough grounds to demand such a high markup (seeing as their units cost the same to produce as others but were retailed higher), and as such they didn't sell very well. IMO Nokia became obnoxious midway through sysmbians life and this is the real reason for their demise.
im now just like a crazy person who login to gsmarena every time just hopin to see a breaking news that nokia finally step out from the deal. oohhh... why not nokia just cooperate with chinese, who surely will maintain nokia just like it was before, giving some money support and driving nokia toward more acceptable UI like android. It just an useless dream hoping to make symbian alive cos now nokia doesnt rule anymore... but just makin it alive in their middle to low handset. I guess im really what they called fanboy. Its ok... im proud of it. Yes Iam a NOKIA FanBOY !!!
panjgoori, 23 Apr 2014do invite me to the party. on the topic. Nokia and Windows Phone both are plain dead now. Peop... moreAgree witch panjgoori, I am feeling very sad as, i am gonna lost my reliable friendship after 14 years....I used WP mobile just due to name of Nokia.....
Gelvin - Maximus, 23 Apr 2014And I am going to make a special party on 25th too. I would be laughing over your ignorance :)... moredo invite me to the party. on the topic. Nokia and Windows Phone both are plain dead now. People bought smartphones based on WP because of Nokia name. as in some region NOkia's name is enough.
it's not about nokia adopting android lagy os , it's about nokia's line up being 90 % entry level mobiles and them giving up symbian and not upgrading it and also moving very late in adopting high end hardware so nokia killed itself really microsoft didnt do anything but waited for the right time to buy nokia at it's worst condition and that's what any smart international corp. would do !!! stop making a big deal out of it
JBird, 23 Apr 2014I'm going to have a big party in 25th of April!
Finally one of my dreams came true... Super h... moreAnd I am going to make a special party on 25th too. I would be laughing over your ignorance :)
New things will come out, I cant wait for the future of Windows Phone.
N9_808, 23 Apr 2014So Nokia is dead on phone market. Well, it's a pity MS must kill Nokia to make place for WP. S... moreTrue that N9. If Nokia switches to android, even now, they can catch up. Unless it was for a legal bond Microsoft held them with, it would still have been an giant.
Its so heart breaking to hear that, once a mobile giant, will now be dissolved. I had been a Nokia user in my childhood and somehow i have a soft-corner for the brand. If only Nokia would have switched to android, it would undoubtedly still have been an major player in the smartphone industry. Hate Microsoft for tying them up to deal with windows OS and bringing the whole company down. And no clue why Nokia agreed to accept it from Microsoft in the first place.
I still feel sorry about it. And i still believe if Nokia moves to android even now, they can still catch up in the market !!!!
