AnonD-77322, 22 Apr 2014what a cheap copy of samsung's round buttons in the notification at LG....How does your car look like ? Very unique ? Or just like other cars ?

I wonder if the G2 will eventually get an updated ui similar to this... doubt it... :(

Not a great deal of 4K content around, just yet.
That UI looks awesome .
Mark, 22 Apr 2014Why QHD?? why not 1080p on 5.5" with huge battery life and better performance? seriously... moreResolution does NOT decrease battery life by such a big amount as everyone are saying, it only requires more processing power (snapdragon 801 is quite good at power saving). The difference between fHD and qHD's power usage IS ALMOST NOTHING. As if the screen was a 5.7" fHD.
Buy the g2 if you don't want qHD. I'd definetly take the G3 if i was buying a new phone. But I'll stick with my note3 till 2016 if it doesn't fall down and crack
i love it!!!
lg the best in the world!
best innovative manufacturer in 2014

Compare a 4K tv with a 1080p TV side by side. If you aren't half blind, you will see the difference from very far away. Even though it is not neccesarry have such a resoultion on a phone, improvement is always good.
I still don't get why is everyone so happy with the QHD resolution screen. You won't notice the difference, even if the screen is 6". What a waste of processing power and battery. The G2 was awsome, and i am really excited to see these phone's battery life. Just understand that everything above 400ppi can't be noticed to the human eye. Btw there is a lot of people saying that the look of the new UI is a lot better than Samsung's Touchwiz. How can you judge that just by watching a few screenshots? And the toggles design is a copy of the touchwiz of GS5.
Happy I skipped over the M8 and G5..waiting patiently for this beast. Only question is if I should wait even a bit longer for the Samsung 'Project KQ'.
Anonymous, 22 Apr 2014LG and Samsung are the biggest copy cat of all tech companies.
Also both government funded. How can LG be copying when they are the ones who created the first modern smartphone that Apple borrowed from.
Also how are LG and Samsung government funded when it was Apple that was saved by the US president/government recently?
In that aspect, isn't every firm protected by their country/government?
Objectivity/consistency much?
WOW !
Well done LG! You definitely listened to the responses to your design! Looks really great!
Vivid colored, clean and FLAT .... and you think it was Samsung who started that ?
Anyone who heard about iOS 7 in this website ?
I am just amazed to see a big change in ui appearance. It looks very nice. I think LG has a winner here with all the rumors around. Especially with qhd screen and freakin slim bezels. And nexus 6 will follow. Now i wander , did i make a mistake hurried and got an m8? Hmm... LOL...
Nice user interface. It looks clean and better than the latest Samsung TouchWiz UI on the Galaxy S5.
Tons better than the old one!
The question is, can the battery hold out for a day with a 2k display. I know there's been big advances in battery save technology and the 801 snapdragon has good power consumption. This is going to be interesting from a major manufacturer.
nice UI overall, LG at last managed to do better then touchwiz
G2 was a monster, now G3 will be the GOD of smartphones
