and the thing with the watch is basically the part that it charges itself like a watch does...

stil waiting for wind-up phones though, read an srticle about how much power a modern wind up can generate, certainly moved up from monkey and symbal toys.. its impressive...radio's and led torches and other small appliances already do, the phone was apparently next.

This is a Sagem inside. Check the Saegem Porsche Design P'9522, same buttons, same screen, same size... :S

an iteresting device. i'm wonderig how does the touchscreen and a machanical watch underneat work. so you see a menu but you stil can see the watch below the sceeen? then you just have to decide to wich surface you will focus the eyes? that kinetyc system might be a great idea if it's effective.

Ulysse Nardin is famous for making (really) expensive watches ($100,000 and above).
This is being a cell phone AND a limited edition one will make the price goes through the roof...

Hope it has a good reception though... Pity if it's not... ;-D

$2000 probably wouldn't even get you in the door, I don't think it will be as much as the Goldvish exclusive edition's $1,000,000 price tag.

I wonder which OS it will have?

I guess it depends on which phone they stripped down and rebuilt?

this statement blew me away "It allows passive recharging on the battery while you are on the move - just like a wrist watch. "

Gonna be cheaper if you buy with 2-year contract. Touch screen is nice. Hopefully comes out soon!

Beautiful. I wish it has a full qwerty keyboard for better web browsing. Then it would really be worth to consider even with its high price.

Beautiful looking phone! It's also nice to see that they aren't leaving out features that people would expect in phones that cost a fraction of what these hefty-priced beauties are after. $2000 for this piece of bling is totally worth it!

if the watch is mechanical, then im assuming its constantly on the screen... unless im wrong
if so, how do we browse the internet presuming we can afford it :-p
will the clock not be a distraction?

all in all its an innovation we needed. Atleast some people are thinking outside the box!!
