Why Nokia! WhY? Why did you disappointed us by giving such a half-baked, cheap looking, under rated touch phone. I thought Nokia will be the one to beat iphone's supremacy. I hope there's still a lot of your touch phones to come. I don't want to spend my hard earned money to something that won't satisfy me.

There is no updated firmware for Nokia 5800. GSMARENA and Nokia is just celebrating the April fool. The last firmware came a few months earlier. Right now there is no firmware. You can see here on this forum that no one has been able to install the latest firmware cuz THERE IS NO FIRMWARE,.

I think it's just the matter of the next firmware upgrade (21.x.x.x?) those issues will be resolved.

i tried to update my firmware today but it says no firmware available. my firmware is 11.0.008. i'm in the philippines and i'm with globe. is this available for my country or with my carrier?

I'm not sure. Where are you? I'm guess that this version might have been to address the 3G issue that plagued the 5800 NAM within the first couple of days it was released in the US. According to most reports only users in the NYC and Chi-town areas were affected and since I bought mine in NYC that could be the reason for the variation in the firmware version I have versus V20.0.012.

When I update the firmware to 20.0.012 the sensor won't work(Silencing Calls and auto rotate display). May Firmware before 10.0.010 I'm using the blue 5800.

I have V11 firmware , tried to update to V20 yesterday was told by Nokia PC Suite that i am ALREADY UP TO DATE. Lier!
I bought this phone from ebay in Asia and i'm in Canada... will i ever get the V20??????? please advise guys.

why does the phone tend to freeeze at times and does anyone have the address to download the software.also another problem when you receive an incoming call and if the phone is locked when you try to open it notthing happens

Did the update last week, 120 mb!!! Whoo hoo, works 100% user interface so much faster and no more restarting bugs!!! Even has geo taging now!! this phone rocks!!
