I was considering this as my new phone:
But the cameras..? No, just no.
ULTRAPIXELS? Yep, brand the camera so people will think its more advanced that anyother camera on any other smartphone, when it really isnt.
warap, 13 May 2014http://spectrum.ieee.org/geek-life/tools-toys/pixels-size-matters/0Haha, give me a break, I thought you were going to link to an article that proves the Ultrapixel sensor outshines the competition in ideal conditions, but instead you just link to some general article about pixel size. Good job bozo.
The 4MP Ultrapixel camera sucks, ok? Yeah I get it, you probably own a M7 or M8 right and you felt threatened by my comments but it doesn't change that resolution wise 4 "Ultrapixels" just can't compete with the raw increase in resolution that a 13+MP camera has to offer, no matter how big those pixels get it's still just 4MP.
Quoting GSMArena in their S5-M8 shootout "a 2014 flagship camera blows it (the M7) out of the water and the One (M8) has a very marginally improved camera" and "its (M8) sensor is over a year old now and it doesn't cut it anymore."
Andy, 13 May 2014Still wondering why HTC decided to shoot themselves in the foot by using two crappy cameras in... moreits not that much bad..check out the comparison review..its decent if not the best..
Arrgg the ultrapixel camera makes me so angry!
HTC doesn't deserve to be profitable until they ditch this poor excuse of a camera. Nobody wants 4 "Ultrapixels" over a regular 13+MP sensor, *nobody*.
Well I think it looks good, but that's about all that's going for it.
bring all the colors u want, still not interested.......your camera sux so bad in low light, that my z2 blow yours
