Adomas, 15 May 2014QHD on 5" is just plain stupid. This is actually more of a drawback than a feature to me.It does look that way but if they for whatever reason manage to match or just beat LG G2 levels of battery life then people won't mind. That remains to be seen.
There is also potential for it to be no bigger than most 5.2" phones like the Z2 due to aggressive bezel reduction and tight packaging. If you have held the LG G2 you wouldn't be able to tell it's a 5" phone.
Size is not an issue it's that QHD that might have heavy impact on battery life. Anything short of LG G2's battery performance would be a fail.

OG MY GOD. AWESOMENESS. It's like the best of the S5 + the best of HTC One + OIS camera and QHD screen. Samsung, HTC and Sony were quite underwhelming but this.. looks lovely. Might change my S4 to this after it comes out. The only thing I will miss is the AMOLED screen - I hope LG will start putting their OLEDs in their phones soon. But.. anyway this might be so worth it.
Engineer55, 14 May 2014The lack of capacitive buttons turns me off. I don't like to have buttons on my screen which a... moreI have to agree - I only bought a G2 on the basis I could root it and force immersive mode on any apps I wanted. Otherwise, the on screen buttons meant it was a 4.9" screen, not a 5.2" screen...
schv09, 15 May 2014I would looove to see an 805 and IPX7 on this device!!!me also that would make the lg g3 the perfect phone ..that's coming from a Samsung diehard ..s5 does nothing for me .. lg g3 for me..
Looks promising and attractive to me, looking forward to this LG G3
You have people who love this and then those who loathe it.
In all honesty this is a spectacular design.
Well done LG.
Anonymous, 14 May 2014It looks HUGE! They should have kept the screen at 5".No S5, Z2 or M8 for you either then!
softly-tech, 14 May 2014Finally i find someone who thinks in the sameway as me. well said dude.Agreed.
It is 2014. Consumers deserve to have a premium build for their money. High end mobiles are not cheap & they should built to reflect their price.
Samsung is dead last in this category.
